Job Description
Mergent Group is seeking experienced Electricians to join a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Reeves Plains, approximately 10 minutes outside Gawler.
We are looking to engage a crew of Electricians to support the current construction program, with opportunities for ongoing work depending on project progress.
Project Details
- Location: Reeves Plains, SA (approximately 10 minutes from Gawler).
- Start Date: From Monday 16 November 2026.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 5:00pm.
- Saturday Work: Not currently scheduled. A potential 6-hour Saturday shift may be introduced depending on project progress.
- Night Shift: None.
- Duration: Through to Xmas (Finish up on 18th of December)
Scope of Works
The project involves electrical installation works on a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) site.
The DC battery cables have already been pulled, with the majority of the remaining works involving:
- Electrical terminations.
- Glanding of batteries and inverters.
- Smaller control cable terminations.
- Minor cable pulling.
- Potential cable ladder installation.
The primary focus of this role will be electrical terminations.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified and experienced Electricians.
- Experience with electrical terminations and industrial electrical installations.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently within a project environment.
- Relevant electrical licences, qualifications and tickets.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
