We’re partnering with a leading manufacturing business seeking a hands-on Process Improvement & Administrative Assistant to support a key operational improvement initiative.
Based in Adelaide, this organisation designs and supplies specialised machinery to both local and international markets and is recognised for its innovative products and strong commitment to quality.
This is a 9-month contract with potential for extension, ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes while staying close to day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Drive a focused process improvement project across supply chain operations

Identify inefficiencies and implement smarter, more efficient workflows

Build Excel-based models using NetSuite data to support forecasting, costing, pricing, and inventory insights
-
Contribute to the development of Power BI reporting (where applicable)

Manage and improve data processes across multiple systems
-
Support supply chain planning with critical admin and reporting tasks
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate inventory cycle counts and investigate variances
-
Update and maintain ERP data (NetSuite)
-
Manage supplier and MRP data (lead times, pricing, MOQs)
-
Monitor inventory, including slow-moving and obsolete stock
-
Produce weekly reports and track open transactions
-
Support logistics and freight coordination
-
Update and maintain work instructions as processes improve
Skills & Experience:
-
Strong Excel skills, including building models and working with large datasets (Power Query highly regarded)

Experience working with ERP data (NetSuite or similar)
-
Ability to translate data into meaningful insights for forecasting, costing, and planning
-
Exposure to Power BI or reporting tools
-
Proven ability to analyse data and identify process improvements
-
High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics (preferred)

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
-
Curious mindset with confidence investigating data discrepancies

Eagerness to learn and contribute in a hands-on environment
