Job Description

Mergent Group is urgently seeking qualified Electricians for an upcoming 4–6 week shutdown at Olympic Dam, supporting a tier one national electrical contractor on a major project.

This is a high-hours, immediate-start opportunity for candidates with strong construction or heavy industrial experience who want to lock in solid shutdown work with FIFO conditions fully supported. Earn between $7,000 to $8,000 per week with Night and Day shift roster availability.

The opportunity

• 4–6 week shutdown
• 13 days on / 1 day off
• 12-hour shifts
• Flights covered from anywhere in Australia
• Camp accommodation and meals provided
• Immediate mobilisation

• Day shift: $60.11/hr + penalties
• Night shift: $69.73/hr + penalties

To be considered, you will need

• Current Electrical Licence
• CPR / LVR
• White Card
• EWP
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space
• Full Australian working rights

Highly regarded

• Previous mine site experience
• Heavy industrial or major project construction background
