Job Description

Use your advanced Excel and analytical skills to drive smarter inventory decisions in a global manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll turn complex supply chain data into clear, business-shaping insights and own the accuracy that keeps production running smoothly across the business.

Data That Drives Decisions

This leading Agritech business relies on high-quality data and insight-driven planning to keep production on track across multiple sites.
As our Demand Planning Analyst, you’ll transform raw operational data into meaningful reporting, accurate inventory parameters, and better decision-making across the organisation.

This is not an admin role — it’s hands-on analytics with real operational impact.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse MRP outputs and highlight insights, exceptions, and errors
  • Build Excel/Power BI dashboards to track inventory performance
  • Investigate cycle count variances and identify root causes
  • Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock trends

Inventory Parameter Management

  • Maintain safety stock, MOQ, lead time, and batch-size settings
  • Ensure data accuracy across item-level fields for MRP runs
  • Support the Demand Planning & Inventory Control Manager with reporting and forecasting inputs

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify inefficient processes and recommend improvements
  • Strengthen data accuracy and integrity across systems
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Production, and Supplier Coordinators

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, modelling, complex formulas)
  • Power BI (or similar BI tools) highly regarded
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite a bonus)
  • Strong analytical ability with confidence interpreting and explaining data

Professional Strengths

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and solve operational challenges
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Curious mindset with an interest in continuous improvement

What’s On Offer

  • Opportunity to step into a true analyst-level role
  • Exposure across supply chain, finance, production, and planning
  • Mentorship from an experienced industry planning leader
  • Be part of a business investing in data-driven decision making
  • Stable organisation with national and global operations

This role will suit someone who enjoys diving deep into data, bringing clarity to complexity, and improving the systems that drive inventory performance.

You’ll Be a Strong Match If You:

  • Enjoy building structure where it’s often softly defined
  • Get satisfaction from fixing data integrity issues
  • Like investigating the “why” behind numbers
  • Want to grow into demand planning, supply chain analytics, or operations optimisation
