What’s on Offer:

  • Base Salary: $113,000 – $120,000 p.a.
  • FIFO Roster: Mostly 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
  • Flights, meals, and accommodation sorted
  • Field Rate: $105.91/day
  • Overcycle Allowance: $895/day — yep, we reward the extra effort
  • Home base: Adelaide (yard support between swings)

Responsibilities:

  • Running well testing and flowback ops like a pro
  • Mentoring and leading field crews (you’re the go-to)
  • Operating, maintaining and commissioning test packages and gear
  • Providing tech support to clients and resolving challenges onsite
  • Overseeing multiple well sites, coordinating personnel and gear
  • Reviewing job programs, costs and test data — and making it all count
  • Reporting and documentation (with a little help from SharePoint & OIM)

 

What You’ll Need:

Essential:

  • 8–10 years’ experience in well testing & frac flowback (onshore)
  • Strong leadership skills and cool head under pressure
  • HR Driver’s Licence, CV crane, 4WD & Senior First Aid
  • Wellsite Permit to Work, Breathing Apparatus & Gas Detection training
  • Confidence with digital reporting systems

Bonus Points For:

  • Advanced Well Test, PVT Sampling, or Well Control training
  • Forklift & EWP tickets
  • International experience (PNG work may pop up)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Rigging up sensors, validating data, and interpreting P&IDs
  • Troubleshooting hardware/software issues in the thick of it
  • Coordinating job planning and equipment readiness
  • Creating clean, client-ready reports with attention to detail
  • Ensuring top-tier safety and quality standards on every job
  • Acting like a data ninja in the field – with strong comms and steady hands

You’ll Need To Bring:

  • Experience with DAQ systems (Fekete, SCAN, WDSS, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of well testing and field ops
  • Top-notch problem-solving skills — calm under pressure
  • First Aid Cert & general site readiness
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team

  • Adapt to changing operational needs and demonstrate flexibility by working overtime or additional shifts when reasonably requested by management.
  • Proactively manage workgroup activities to ensure operational efficiency and profitability, including monitoring timekeeping and addressing any issues as needed.
  • Oversee the division’s monthly KPI performance — track, review, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the yard and workshop areas.
  • Provide support for supervisors when giving disciplinary action within workgroup.
  • Manage recruitment process for division, Liaise with HSEC and Office manager to ensure process is followed.

  • Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide technical support to field teams.
  • Identify cost-saving measures and mitigate financial risks across projects.
  • Prepare and assess tenders, estimates, and quotes.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to enhance project outcomes.
  • Monitor budgets and track costs to maintain profitability.

  • Manage maintenance of facilities and equipment in a safe operating condition and ensure adequate follow up and preventative measures and procedures are put into place.
  • Act on engineer’s job instruction as per procedures.
  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly checklist procedures are submitted.
  • Ensure effective handovers to opposite shift Supervisors.
  • Generate gauge & daily reports for both client and company.
  • Recommend and discuss cost effective changes to systems/processes/equipment as necessary.
  • Adhere to Company and Customer policies and procedures and participate in regular safety meetings.
  • Adhere to Client and Customer safety standards including but not limited to:
    • JHA compliance
    • Customer Safety Case requirements
    • Correct use of Company safety reporting systems
    • Regular review of Operating Procedures
    • Company & Customer emergency response requirements
    • Encourage & monitor all mandatory facility inspections and audits
    • Duty of care regulations
    • Report all accidents, injuries, incidents, near misses and non-compliances
    • Continuous review of all activities including procedures, safe operating practices, JHA’s, risk assessments and hazard register
  • Be responsible for the environment in general and assist in minimizing activity related environmental impact on site.
  • Be compliant to all QHSE and HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Oilfield well site services experience of 5 - 10 years with strong multi-skill experience in slickline services onshore/offshore.
  • Documented training in Slickline operations and all associated equipment.
  • Evidence of lower-level supervisor experience.
  • Computer literacy & experience (word processing, excel, etc).
  • Health, Environmental and Safety application.
  • Gas detection training Certificate.
  • Breathing Apparatus Training.
  • Wellsite Permit to Work Holder & Authority Training.
  • Current Driver’s License.
