Mergent Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator for a site-based FIFO position on a major industrial project in regional South Australia. Working with one of the country’s leading contractors, you’ll be embedded in a strong project team overseeing safety across mechanical, scaffolding, and protective coatings packages.

🔧 Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily safety operations and promote HSE best practices
• Conduct site inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations
• Monitor high-risk works: confined space, hot works, working at heights
• Ensure compliance with HSE management systems and client expectations
• Engage closely with site supervisors, project managers, and subcontractors

📋 What You’ll Need:

• Cert IV in WHS (minimum) – Diploma preferred
• 3+ years of HSE experience in major construction or industrial projects
• Exposure to mechanical, scaffolding, or protective coating environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• White Card and current driver’s licence

• Large-scale infrastructure upgrade in regional SA
• Significant site presence with ongoing activity throughout 2025
