Mergent Group is excited to partner with a globally recognised leader in downhole drilling design and manufacture.  We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists for a full-time FIFO role in Moomba, SA. Fly in and out on a 2/2 Roster from either Adelaide or Brisbane and join a dynamic team in a well-supported environment. This is truly an outstanding opportunity that should not be passed up.  

Responsibilities:

- Operating CNC and manual machines to complete machining tasks
- Working from engineering drawings to get the job done right
- Reporting machine issues and keeping things running smoothly
- Keeping records accurate and up to date
- Maintaining safety and quality standards at all times

Requirements:

- Trade Certificate in machining or similar
- 3-5 years’ experience in a machining role
- Experience with CNC programming and metalworking machinery
- Understanding of different grades of steel and machining techniques
- Good communication skills and a strong safety mindset
- Forklift or loader licence (bonus but not essential)
